Year of Food
These are posts that fit in with my “year of food” series, noting all notable meals from the first year of “Dine at Joe’s!”
McDonalds – Double Cheeseburger
Actually, 2 double cheeseburgers, ’cause I felt kinda frisky.
JR’s Grill
Chili with homemade onion rings was quite good, though I couldn’t finish the bowl of Chili. The onion rings were probably the highlight of the meal, which I ate with some ranch sauce, and some ketchup. (I used more ketchup than ranch.) I had an iced tea to drink that really hit the spot.
Denny’s – Moons over my Hammy
Freebirds – My Standard Burrito
My standard Freebirds Burrito includes: -Spanish Rice -Cayenne Pepper Tortilla -Mixed Cheeses -Refried Beans -White Chicken -Light Onion -Death Sauce -Bad Ass BBQ Sauce
Addison Octoberfest – Blue corn and flaxseed tortilla with sausage and hefeweizen
The tortilla specifically contained a fried onion (making it crunchy), Sauerkraut, and German Sausage. It was really good!
Vito @ Jimmy John’s
#5 – The “Vito” at Jimmy Johns, complete with a Chocolate Chunk Cookie.
Cafe Brazil – French Toast
Late Night Snack
Aww yeah… Love me some Hershey’s!
